PURPOSE:To attain the correct scanning and reproduction of a rotary magnetic head on adjacent tracks at reproduction, by recording the information signal including a synchronizing signal on plural pairs of inclined magnetic tracks having different recording azimuths, in a digital VTR. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing signal from rotary magnetic heads H1, H2 is applied to bit synchronism circuits 21, 22 and PLLs 31, 32 via reproducing amplifiers 11, 12 respectively. The output of the synchronizing circuits and the PLLs is applied to block syncyronizing signal detection circuits 41, 42 respectively. A block synchronism signal in a reproduced digital video signal from the circuits 41, 42 is extracted and applied to a phase measuring circuit 5. An intermittent pulse signal having the pulse number in response to the time of the reproduced block synchronizing signal is generated at the circuit 5 and applied to a phase servo circuit 8 via a switch 6, the output controls the phase of a capstan motor 9 to attain the tracking control so that the heads H1, H2 scan the corresponding inclined track. |
