<p>In the aerobic stabilisation of faecal sludges in plants dedicated thereto, the outflow still has levels of contamination which correspond to a domestic sewage. To achieve better clarification, it is proposed to homogenise the sludges, to dissolve the water-soluble substances contained in the homogenised sludge, to convert the organic nitrogen compounds into inorganic nitrogen compounds, especially nitrides and nitrates, and subsequently to stabilise the sludge.</p> |
