PURPOSE:To obtain printing durability without necessitating special work and to make it possible to carry out correction in good printing image quality, by a method wherein the surface of printing plate is ground or cut from the upper surface of rubber applied to said printing plate in order to protect the film surface thereof and the treated surface thereof is coated with a correcting liquid. CONSTITUTION:A correcting unit 27 is moved to a predetermined position on a printing plate positioned on a moving table 23 through a guide rail 20b and a slider bar 26. In the next step, a grinder 28 is at first fallen and, while moved, grinds the surface of the printing plate along with the protective rubber film thereon in a predetermined shape corresponding to a register mark while the pen tip 28a of a correcting pen 28 is succeedingly fallen to apply a correcting liquid to the ground part while the correcting unit 27 is moved. At this time, the correcting liquid protruded from the ground part is removed at the same time when the rubber film is removed, therefore, there is no such fear that the protruded correcting liquid is converted to a printing image during printing. By this method printing durability and good printing image quality are obtained. |
