A coating composition for polycarbonate moldings comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a partially hydrolyzed condensate of an alkyltrialkoxysilane of the general formula: R1Si(OR2)3 wherein R1 represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms and R2 represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, and (B) 0.5-6 parts by weight of polyvinylbutyral resin.
