The magazine (1) has a withdrawal opening for inserting clip contact jaws (3) and for withdrawal of clips from the magazine. A transport device individually shifts the clips relative to the withdrawal opening into a withdrawal position. An outer contour enables gripping of the magazine with a hand, where the magazine is designed in a form of an oblong cylinder. The withdrawal opening is arranged at a front side (13).
