PURPOSE:To restart work easily by storing the current counted value of blocks when the work of a machine tool with a numerical controller is interrupted and restarting the work when a counter attains to the counted value during the interruption restarting. CONSTITUTION:A decoding circuit 2 reads information on a specified tape 1 and every time when a block A to be perforated or punched is detected, a counter 3 counts up by one. If work is interrupted owing to the breakdown of a tool, etc., the current counted value of the frequency of perforation of punching in the counter 3 is read out preset in a counter 4 and the counter 3 is preset to 0. When the work is restarted, a switch 6 is turned on and the tape 1 is set initially to perform execution; once the execution is carried out until the interrupted block, a comparing circuit 5 discriminates the coincidence between the contents of the counters 3 and 4 and a circuit 5 outputs a work restarting command to restart the work. |
