PURPOSE:To obtain a binary picture having high picture quality, by giving a present input and a data near picture element inputted and stored in advance as an address of an ROM at a binary circuit of a shaded picture, and binary coding the data by a specified algorithm. CONSTITUTION:In binary coding a picture element 2a, the binary data of 12 sets of picture elements 2b near the picture element 2a finished for the processing is used for binary coding. A picture signal of the picture element 2a inputting the shaded picture through line scanning passes through an A/D converter 11, where the signal is converted into an n-bit digital signal. A binary data in 12-bit of the elements 2b stored in a line buffer 13 is inputted as an address data of the ROM 12 and binary-coded by the specified algorithm. A part of the output enters the line buffer 13 for storage. |
