PURPOSE:To dispense with the on-the-spot fitting of each nozzle and feed enough grinding water, by providing grinding water feed ports in blocks corresponding to the form of the gap between a dresser and a grind-stone and by performing only machining to provide a nozzle form fit to the gap. CONSTITUTION:Blocks 12, 12' interchangeably coupled to the ends of grinding water feed pipes 11, 11' are inserted into the gap between a grindstone 1 and a rotary dresser 2. The peripheral part of the grindstone 1 has steps 1a-1d. The rotary dresser 2 has inverse steps 2a-2d corresponding to those of the grindstone 1. The blocks 12, 12' are symmetrically placed right and left as to the point of contact of th grindstone and the dresser so that the steps of the blocks correspond to the gaps between the steps of the grindstone and the dresser. One or more feed ports 13, 13', which correspond to the width of each step, are provided in the opposed faces of the steps of the blocks 12, 12' so that the feed ports are oriented to the point of contact of the grindstone 1 and the dresser 2. |
