PURPOSE:To maintain properly a battery charging amount by making an alternator generate electricity in increasing torque generated in a crankshaft to restrain torque fluctuation while controlling the generating amount of the alternator according to the condition of a battery. CONSTITUTION:Time of increasing torque generated in a crankshaft is detected by a timing detecting means 3 comprising a crank angle sensor 7 to supply current to a field core 1a of an alternator 1 through a field current controlling means 2 including a single multiplexer 9 in the time of increasing the torque for making the alternator 1 generate. Thus, reverse torque is generated in the crankshaft to restrain the fluctuation of rotational torque. When the discharging condition of a battery 5 is detected by a battery condition detecting means 12, a field current controlling means 12 is corrected by a correcting means 11 in the direction of increasing generation amount of the alternator 1 and in the direction of decreasing the generation amount when the over-charging condition is detected. |
