PURPOSE:To suck the dust attached to a record together with the air by a negative pressure source, by bringing the record into contact with the bristles of a brush which is attached to the base board of the player main body and has an air inlet with free turning and free up-down movement and connecting the negative pressure source to the air inlet. CONSTITUTION:A record 4 is put on a turntable 1 with its center hole fitted to a center pin 3, and a brush 5 is attached to a base board 2 with free turning and free up-down movement. The brush 5 contains a rod-shaped brush main body 6 and a shaft 7 which is attached to the base end part of the body 6 with a right angle to the body 6. The bristles 8 are provided at a single side of the width direction of the lower surface of the body 6, and an air inlet 9 is formed at the other side. An air path 10 formed to both the body 6 and the shaft 7 links to the inlet 9. The bristle part 8 is set at the front side of directions shown by arrows A and B when the record 4 is played; while the inlet 9 is positioned at the rear side of the record revolving direction respectively when the main body 6 is approximately set on the radius line of the record 4. |
