PURPOSE:To obtain efficiently a prepreg by a method wherein high viscosity resin composition coated on a sheet coated with mold releasing agent is laminated on a base sheet, then heated to impregnate the base with the above-mentioned composition and at the same time to change the composition into B stage. CONSTITUTION:After the surface of the sheet 2 coated with mold releasing agent is coated continuously by a reverse roll coater 3 etc. with solventless liquefied thermosetting resin composition (such as a composition of epoxy resin etc. and hardener) 1 which does not produce reactive by-product such as gas or liquid, etc., for example, in the course of a B-stage operation, this composition is laminated on the continuously supplied base (such as glass cloth etc.) 4, then, said laminate is heated in the B stage apparatus 6 to transfer the above-mentioned composition 1 on the base 4, and changed into the B-stage and finally the sheet 2 is separated to obtain the prepreg 12. |
