RECORDING MEDIUM OF PICTURE INFORMATION AND RECORDING AND READOUT METHOD

PURPOSE:To attain the recording of picture information by means of electromagnetic irradiated rays, by using a picture information recording medium provided with the 1st photo conductive layer generating carriers and the 2nd photo conductive layer holding the latent image of pattern. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic radiant ray R from a recording electromagnetic radiant ray generator 1 consisting of an X-ray source and the like is irradiated on a picture information recording medium 3. The electromagnetic radiant ray according to the picture information is recorded on an objective 2 as a latent image of carrier distribution. In case of readout, the recording medium 3 is scanned with an electromagnetic radiant ray L from a readout electromagnetic radiant ray generator 4 comprising a laser light and the like, and electric signals due to carriers forming the latent image are extracted from electrodes provided on both sides of the medium 3. The medium 3 consists of the laminating body of the 1st and the 2nd photo conductive layers 11 and 12, and electrode layers 13, 14 are provided on the outer surface.
