PURPOSE:To enable to supply always a specified volume of molten metal exactly in a casting mold, by putting the molten metal into a storage tank divided by means of a partition wall, and transferring the specified volume thereof into the other removal tank by moving a vertically moving float downward then ladling out the constant volume thereof with a ladling cup. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal of Pb or the like is put into a storage tank 3 divided by means of a partition wall 2, and a vertically moving float 5 in the upper part is moved downward so as to be immersed in the molten metal. The level of the molten metal rises and the molten metal flows over the wall 2 into a ladling tank 4. When the levels of the molten metal in both tanks 3, 4 rise to the height of the wall 2 or above, the float 5 is pulled upward and the molten metal is filled in the tank 4 up to the height of the wall 2. A ladling cup 6 provided with an inflow port 7 at the bottom end is immersed into the molten metal in the tank 4 and when the level of the molten metal in the cup 6 rises flush with the level of the molten metal in the outside, the port 7 is closed with a rod 9 to contain a specified volume of the molten metal in the cup, whereafter the cup is moved over the casting mold and casting is thus accomplished. |
