A damper of a glove box is provided to maintain a constant opening speed of the glove box by performing damping using resistance due to eddy current as well as air resistance. A damper(100) of a glove box to control opening speed of the glove box comprises a cylinder(120), a conductive layer(122) and a piston(140). The cylinder is connected to a glove box case. The conductive layer is provided on the inner wall of the cylinder. The piston is connected to the glove box, moves along the inner wall of the cylinder, and has a permanent magnet(142).
