PURPOSE:To make both-face copy as well as one-face copy possible and to make a copying machine body small-sized, by mounting a both-face copy unit which switches the passage of copy paper to an ejection passage and a switchback passage to switchback-return the copy paper. CONSTITUTION:An ejecting roller 24 ejects the copy paper from a fixer 17 to an ejecting part (c), and a switchback returning means (d) interchanges the front and rear ends of the copy paper passing through the fixer 17 and sends the copy paper to a sheet reversing and returning guide 34 of a copying machine body 1. A passage switching guide pawl 27 switches the passage of the copy paper from the ejecting roller 24 to the passage to a paper ejecting tray 25 or a switchback passage 26. The returning means (d) returns the copy paper, where a picture is copied on the front face, along a circular route indicated by a broken line by this switching of the guide pawl 27, and the copy paper is reversed and returned to a paper feeding path 20 and is sent to an image forming part (a) and the fixing part 17 again, and a picture is copied on the rear face, and the copy paper is sent to the tray 25 by switching of the guide pawl 27. |
