PURPOSE:To discriminate the state of a remote station at a master station, by providing a supervisory signal generating means and a system supervisory means for a master station side controller so as to minimize a supervisory signal folded at the remote station and returned to the master station. CONSTITUTION:A remote station controller RCONT and a controller HCONT of a master station are connected with a PCM transmission line, and the HCONT of the master station is provided with a generating means SHE of a supervisory signal SH, a detector HSRDET of the remote station SR and a detector HSHDET of the SH signal of the master station. Further, the device RCONT of the remote station is provided with a generating means SRE of the supervisory signal SR, a detector RSH-DET of the SH signal of the remote station, an FF, AND gates A0, A1 and an OR gate OR. The state of the remote station is discriminated at the master station by taking that the supervisory signal SH of the master station is folded at the remote station and it is returned to the master station as the supervisory signal SR as the minimum conditions. |
