The invention relates to a method for determining the position of at least one ID transmitter (9, 11) relative to a transceiver (13) comprising several transmit antennas, particularly relative to a control device of a vehicle (1). In said method, the transceiver (13) sends one respective transmission telegram containing data on the orientation (3, 5, 7) of the antenna via the differently oriented transmit antennas.
