PURPOSE:To enable the direct reading of temp. with a counter without arithmetic processing, by inputting the output of an oscillator which changes in oscillation frequency with temp. after beat down. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 7 which is constituted of a surface acoustic wave resonator 6 having a large coefft. of temp. is used as a temp. detector. The oscillation output thereof and the output of a local oscillator 8 are applied to a mixer 9, and after the beat down, the differential frequency is drawn out therefrom and is applied to a frequency counter 13 provided with a time base via an amplifier 10. The time base of the counter 13 is set by an oscillator 11 for time base and the output of said oscillator and the output of the amplifier 10 are ANDed 10. The output thereof is applied to a counter 13. The oscillation frequencies of the temp. detector and the oscillator 8 are so set that the temp. can be read directly from the output of the counter 13. |
