Product conveyor belt consisting of a tube and a number of elements orientated side by side relative to each other and located in the tube. A drive mechanism serves to move these elements along the tube, where each or almost each element is formed with a product-holding device 12a, extending through a slit 6a formed in the tube. The tube 6 is formed with a flat surface 6b,6c alongside the slit 6a and the element 12,13 is arranged so as to slide along this flat surface when moved.
