PURPOSE:To prevent the continuation of erroneous time indication due to misoperation by automatically returning a pointer to the time display through a timer when a crown is operated to set an alarm time or the like and then, left alone. CONSTITUTION:As the crown is shifted axially from the first to second position, a switch S3 is turned ON and with the alarm time setting mode, a pointer 29 indicates the set alarm time while the interval between the alarm time and the current time is transferred to and memorized into an interval memory circuit 66 via a memory circuit 72. The alarm time is corrected through a correction controlling circuit 102 responding to switches S1 and S2. When the crown is not returned to the first position after the setting of the alarm time, a quickl feed signal output circuit 40 starts with a timer circuit 50 after the passage of a specified time and controls the pointer 29 according to the contents of the circuit 66 through a quick feed control circuit 103 to return to normal time indication automatically thereby preventing the continuation of erroneous time indication due to misoperation. |
