<p>The block and tackle fishing gear is designed for use in a continuous fishing operation of the multi-bait trawl variety, paying out and winding in being effected by means of a return pulley mounted on the boat. The pulley is both motor driven and reversible. The pulley is also capable of rotating freely, and may detect an imbalance of warp tensions. Differential otter board control may be inc and the return pulley may be mounted on an ancillary boat running parallel to the parent boat. The pulley may be fitted with a peripherally notched wheel and its axle may be inclined to the vertical, the forward hooks being fed onto the wheel by ramps.</p> |
