For fixing the closed end winding of a helically wound upholstery spring to a frame part, two opposite lugs are shaped out of said frame part, one of the lugs projecting in an angled manner from the edge of the frame part and the size of the angled portion being less than the thickness of the winding of the upholstery spring, and the other lug having an initially upright tab which, when the end winding has been placed on, is bent to surround the latter.
