PURPOSE:To obtain a marking device capable of easily altering letters or numerals to be marked by providing plural endless marking belts with embossed letters or numerals, a shaft to support the belts in a freely rotatable manner, and a driver to turn the shaft. CONSTITUTION:A marking device is made up of plural endless marking belts 3'a-3'e with embossed letters or numerals, a rotary shaft 13 to turn the belts one by one, and a driver 12 for the rotary shaft. Also, gears 14 and 15 engaging with the backs of the belts are provided in the inside of the belts 3'a-3'e, each of the gears is coupled with one tip 16 provided at the top of the rotary shaft 13 and turned, and thereby necessary letters of the belts 3'a-3'e are positioned one by one on right above a semiconductor device 7. The belts are moved by a pulse motor provided to the driver 12. |
