Circuit arrangement in an ideographic typewriter

In ideographic typewriters, the input is frequently effected in accordance with an input key according to which several keys must be operated for each character to be input. Since several different such input keys are known, an operator is in each case bound to the machines whose input key he has learnt. The invention provides for the arrangement of several code converters which can be selected by an input means and enable the characters to be input in accordance with various input keys for the same character set.
