Magnetic recording materials

A magnetic recording material is proposed which comprises a base with a coating composition applied thereupon, which composition contains a ferromagnetic fine powder dispersed in a binder. The binder comprises a mixture of monomers and polymers having an average molecular weight in the range from 6000 to 100000. The coating composition is applied to a base and then irradiated according to the magnetic orientation by irradiation with electron beams. The material displays improved physical strength and suffers from less deterioration in electromagnetic properties after repeated use.
