摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a good bead shape and to prevent welding defects such as overlap, lack of fusion or the like, by using a flux contg. prescribed ratios of SiO2, Al2O3, TiO3, ZrO2, CoF2, Mn, etc. in performing welding. CONSTITUTION:A flux contg., by wt%, 11-35% SiO2, 1-42% Al2O3, 5-38% TiO2 and/or ZrO2 (<=8% ZrO2), 4-20% CaF2, 3-20% (in terms of MnO) >=1 kind among MnO2, MnO, Mn, 55-80% (SiO2+Al2O3+TiO2+ZrO2) and contg. the components satisfying the formula (MnO is MnO2, MnO, Mn respectively in terms of MnO, and the respective molecular formulas are ratios at which the corresponding components are contained) is prepd. Welding is accomplished with a DC positive polarity by using such flux.
