PURPOSE:To improve the picture quality of a restoring picture, and to quantitatively determining and evaluating the correcting accuracy of a geometrical distortion, by quantitatively determining the influence exerted on the restoring picture by a flying body parameter and a system parameter, by using test data or real data. CONSTITUTION:Test data is generated by delivering actual orbit and attitude data, etc. to a test data generating device 1 from a flying body parameter setting device 8 (data base), and simulating a simple surface pattern (for instance, one point). If necessary, a quantization factor is varied by use of a converter 3 of a quantization factor. The test data is restored by a data restoring device 4. A restored picture is compared with an original surface test pattern by a restoring picture evaluating device 6, by which a speckle noise and a picture element flow in the range direction and the azimuth direction are detected. A correcting parameter value corresponding to said noise and quantity of the picture element flow is set by a system parameter device 9. |
