PURPOSE:To prevent the deficiency in the electrostatic charging quantity of a toner and the sticking thereof on the surface of a sleeve, by constituting the surface of the sleeve of a resin which is dispersed with silica to have a good releasability and using the toner of the material having a far relation with silica in terms of a triboelectric series. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 4 is constituted of a non-magnetic cylindrical base body 4a and a resin layer 4b coated on the circumferential surface of the body 4a. The layer 4b consists of a resin dispersed with silica to have a good releasability, for example, a silicone resin. A toner 2 of the material having a far relation with silica in terms of a triboelectric series is used. If the releasability of the layer 4b is improved in the above-mentioned way, the lumpy or film-like sticking of the toner 2 on the surface thereof is prevented. The toner 2 consisting of such material is throughly charged by the friction in direct contact with the layer 4b dispersed therein with silica. The stable visible image having high quality is thus obtained. |
