PURPOSE:To eliminate a crossing part of an optical waveguide on a same plane, and to reduce a crosstalk, by executing the wiring of a part of a lot of optical circuit group by use of a polarization saving optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The optical waveguides G10-G33 are placed on a plane of an input side substrate 1, and the 1X2 optical switch elements S11-S33 are formed on each branch point of the optical waveguide respectively. The optical waveguides G40-G62 are placed on a plane of an output side substrate 3. As for optical fibers F1-F9, the wiring is performed so that any of input light X1-X3 is waveguided to any of optical coupling parts C1-C3 on the substrate 3. According to such a constitution, the input light X1 is switched by any of the switches S11-S13 to pass through the optical coupling parts C1-C3 of the substrate 3, and is emitted as any one of output light Y1-Y3. |
