PURPOSE:To prevent a strip from a sag on a winder by raising the rotational speed of a winding shaft instantaneously to high speed and lowering gradually the speed as the next winding is started. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined length of a strip 2 is wound up, the fed strip is automatically cut at position 2' and the bundle 5 of wound-up strip is recovered. Then, a winding shaft 1 begins to be rotated with high speed by a first step switching operation of a rotational speed converter 7. When an end of the strip is caught and fixed by the winding shaft, the speed is lowered gradually by a second step switching operation of the rotational speed converter 7 so that a sag of the strip on the winder is prevented. |
