PURPOSE:To provide a flange bearing box which can be easily manufactured and has high rigidity by forming a housing for storing a bearing and a flange base having a fixing bolt hole with individual members, and joining both members into one body. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 is manufactured by cutting a steel pipe having a specific inside diameter and thickness, and two diametrical places of one end surface of the housing 1 are notched to form fitting openings 3 for a bearing. A flange base 2 is manufactured by cutting a steel plate having a specific thickness to a predetermined shape, and the central portion of the base is provided with an opening portion 4 in which the outer peripheral surface of the housing is fitted, and with a plurality of fixing bolt holes 5 at the time of using as a bearing unit. The center of the outer periphery of the housing 1 is fitted in the opening portion 4 of the flange base 2 to be brought into contact therewith and the contact portions are joined into one body by welding to form a flange bearing box. |
