The present disclosure is related to an electrohydraulic tribometer, allowing friction and wear evaluation which cause two elements to be worn in an accelerated manner, said elements being a cylindrical pin and a circular disc, for use as laboratory and research equipment. The device has a structure comprising three main parts: a chassis, a main body and a cover. The chassis provides housing to a three-phase motor, a frequency variator, a main electronic circuit, a cover and the main body. The main body is coupled to an electrohydraulic system and a positioning system of the main cylinder. The electrohydraulic system has a DC motor which actuates the hydraulic system for supplying pressurized oil from a secondary cylinder to a master cylinder that impels a piston generating a vertical movement which, through a load cell, sets the normal load of the bolt against the disc. Likewise, the positioning mechanism supports the main cylinder, providing a horizontal movement that is used to man ipulate specimens (pin and disc). These movements are generated by two DC motors, and, finally, the cover made of fiberglass is useful for covering some of the elements, positioning the controls and provide a good appearance to the presentation of the same. |
