PURPOSE:To improve the producing efficiency of a document of Japanese words, by performing a Japanese word converting process, etc. in response to the input character data stored in a buffer when the character fed from a keyboard having a standard array of keys is decided as a space character. CONSTITUTION:The character fed from a keyboard 1 having a standard array of keys us decuded at an input character deciding part 2 whether or not the fed character is equal to a space character. This character is stored in a buffer part 3 if it is not a space character. Thus a repeat flag part 7 is set under a non- repeating state. If the input character is equal to a space character and when the part 7 is not under a repeat mode, a function word execution processing part 5 is actuated to perform the processing of function words when the contents of the part 3 are decided as function words through a buffer contents deciding part 4. In case it is decided that the characters other than the function words are stored in the buffer 3, a conversion processing part 6 is started to perform the conversion of Japanese words with reference to a file part 8. The result of this conversion is displayed at a display part 10 under the control of an output control part 9. Furthermore, the processing part 6 selects homophones with operations of space keys. |
