The present invention relates to a tandem bicycle, which allows front and rear pedals arranged in the front and rear parts of the bicycle to drive front and rear wheels, respectively, through a specific chain structure. To achieve this, the tandem bicycle comprises: a main frame which is formed in a bar shape having a certain length; a front saddle which is formed on the top of the front end of the main frame; a rear saddle which is formed on the top of the rear end of the main frame; a vertical frame which is installed in a through hole of the main frame to be rotated; a front wheel drive unit which has a front wheel crank shaft, a front wheel drive sprocket coupled to the front wheel crank shaft, a front wheel driven sprocket coupled to the shaft of the front wheel, a front wheel chain for connecting the front wheel drive sprocket and the front wheel driven sprocket to each other, and a pair of front wheel pedals provided in the front wheel crank shaft; and a rear wheel drive unit which has a rear wheel crank shaft, a rear wheel drive sprocket coupled to the rear wheel crank shaft, a rear wheel driven sprocket coupled to the shaft of the rear wheel, a rear wheel chain for connecting the rear wheel drive sprocket and the rear wheel driven sprocket to each other, and a pair of rear wheel pedals provided in the rear wheel crank shaft. |
