<p>PURPOSE:To let marine creature fall off from the filter of a foreign matter removing device for a turbine and others, by weakening their adhesion strength by pouring a medium such as fresh water to weaken the creature in the neighborhood of the position where the marine creature will adhere. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical filter 14 is equipped to a foreign matter removing device 4 which purifys the sea water getting into a turbine, a condenser and others, and the sea water being fed from an inlet 11 is fed into the necessary parts from an outlet 12 after the foreign matter is removed by the filter. A water injection pipe 8 is provided to the inside in the lower side of the above- mentioned filter 14. By means of feeding fresh water discharged from a turbine after cooling passing through an injection pipe 6, for example, the water injection pipe 8 can inject water which will kill or weaken the adhering marine creature from the back side of a filter 14, so that the marine creature is removed from the filter and is prevented from adhering.</p> |
