PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which has simple construction, small size and light weight by the constitution wherein the position of the welding point with a welding torch is made coincident with the weld line by a sensor for copying the weld line and the angle, movement, etc. of the torch are controlled with a control device. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to a welding device for fillet copy welding method of a horizontal work W1 and a vertical work W2 at a weld line WL, wherein an electric motor M4 is controlled by a control device in accordance with the output from a sensor S for copying the weld line consisting of a copying roll 9 and a detector TR to make the position P of the welding point with a welding torch T coincident with the weld line WL by means of a ball screw transmission mechanism 7 and a moving body 6. On the other hand, an electric motor M5 is controlled by a control device not shown in the figure from the displacement, etc. of said body 6 to control the angle of the torch T with a link mechanism 8 and a torch holding member 8j. The fluctuation in the position of a traveling carriage 1 is compared with a set reference value and the traveling direction, speed, etc. thereof are controlled. |
