PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability with a reduced detrimental reflection by arranging an optical member tightly at one end of an optical fiber with the index of refraction roughly equal to the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 3 is so arranged that the incidence side end thereof is positioned at an image formation point A of a light flux passing through a condenser lens 2. The light flux from the optical fiber 3 is caused to hit a reflector arranged at a measuring point as parallel flux passing a reflection preventing plate 5 and an object lens 6. The reflection preventing plates 4 and 5 are made up of a transparent plate whose index of refraction is equal to or close to that of the optical fiber and bonded on the ends of the optical fiber with an adhesive.
