PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of transshipment work by installing an article turnabout gear onto a bed. CONSTITUTION:The article turnabout gear 5 is mounted in the vicinity of the front on the bed 2, free roller conveyors 6, the surface of load thereof agree with said gear 5, are set up before and behind the gear, and a pair of stoppers 7a, 7b each protruding and drawing back in the vertical direction of the surfaces of load are fitted before and behind the article turnabout gear 5. The gear 5 consists of a large number of ball casters 8 dispersed and arranged extending over the whole width of the bed. An article carried in on the roller conveyors 6 from one end of the bed 2 is shifted onto the article turnabout gear 5 by human power under the state in which the stopper before the direction of carry-in such as 7a falls and the stopper 7b rises. The stopper 7b is dropped, and the direction of the article is changed at an angle such as 90 deg. and shifted onto the roller conveyors 6 again. |
