PURPOSE:To prevent the sudden rise of a temperature in a compartment by mainly sucking air in the compartment just after air cooling is stopped manually and circulating air into the compartment when air cooling is done so in the air conditioner for the automobile with an automatic temperature control means. CONSTITUTION:When the function of an air cooler 21 is stopped through manual operation, an inside and outside air sucking changeover door 16 is brought to an attitude sucking air in the compartment by the functioning of an actuator 17 through a solenoid valve 18 because a first comparator 37 generates predetermined signals during the time when the temperature in the compartment equalizes to an ambient temperature on the outside of the compartment, and air in the compartment is sucked, and circulated into the compartment. When the temperature in the compartment rises gradually and equalizes to the ambient temperature on the outside of the compartment, the transmission of predetermined signals from the comparator 37 is stopped, the door 16 is brought to an attitude sucking the outside air by a control section 3, and air on the outside of the compartment is introduced mainly and the inside of the compartment is ventilated. |
