An aqueous, heat-curable coating composition which, as a binder, contains in combination: A: 10 to 80% by weight of carboxyl-containing, oil-free polyester, B: 5 to 80% by weight of acrylic polymer and C: 5 to 40% by weight of blocked polyisocyanates, formaldehyde-amine resins, formaldehyde-phenol resins and/or (meth)acrylamide copolymers, as a crosslinking agent, and its use for EC coating and for the coating of metal tapes. n
