A sheet for holding thin flat articles such as postage stamps is disclosed, consisting of a relatively rigid sheet of an at least partially transparent plastic film, on the back of which a thinner, flexible film is arranged which is bonded to the sheet in strips and is cut open between the adhesion points, so that pockets are formed for the postage stamps. The sheet is transparent at certain points and non-transparent at other points, so that only the postage stamps inserted into the pockets can be seen from the front.
