On a guiding and manipulating bar (14), which is guided displaceably and rotatably in a guide crossbeam (15) to be mounted on the manifold end face there is located in front of a hydraulic cylinder (30) a unit (16) for finding leaks, which serves to stop leaky tube connections (31) and enables the exact locating of leaky tube connections. A search pin (26) which is remotely controlled from outside and from which a hose (20) leads outwards is guided in this arrangement into the opening of the tube connection. Pressure medium escaping at the hose (20) betrays leaky tube connections. In order to stop a leaky point, the hydraulic cylinder (30) can subsequently be brought exactly under the latter with the aid of a spacer (66). <IMAGE> |
