PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method which achieve image formation using a decolorizing colorant and image formation using a non-decolorizing colorant in one job or in one page.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a client terminal 160 including an image being a print object, a printer driver 30 that is instructed to start a print setting screen for the image, a display 160c configured to display a rewritable setting screen 48, and a storage part 160b configured to store the image and set content obtained by setting rewritable print or permanent print for every page by operation onto the rewritable setting screen 48 as an image forming job; and a first image forming part 8 and a second image forming part 10, which receive the image forming job to form the image based on the set content. |
