PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of an inside diameter with high accuracy by dividing the measured inside circumference by the circular constant. CONSTITUTION:An annular part 4 is rotated around a supporting column 3 and an elastic tape 2 is wound on the column 3. The tape with its diameter reduced by said winding is inserted into the hole of a cylinder 1 to be measured. The winding is then released and the tape 2 expands and adheres tightly to the inside surface of the hole. In this state, the scale of the tape 2 is read and the inside diameter of the cylinder 1 to be measured is detected directly. |
