PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with a high power supply efficiency.SOLUTION: The printer, connected to a peripheral device, comprises: a power supply generation circuit that supplies the peripheral device with a predetermined driving voltage necessary to operate the peripheral device; a driving circuit that is inputted with a driving signal to operate the peripheral device with the driving voltage; and a control circuit that outputs the driving signal to the driving circuit to operate the driving circuit for a predetermined driving period during which the driving circuit is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
