<p>PURPOSE:The titled mixture having improved flow resistance and wear resistance of the paved surface without lowering workability, obtained by adding a moisture curing type prepolymer to a mixture of aggregate, sand, asphalt, and stone powder. CONSTITUTION:An asphalt mixture for pavement containing aggregate, sand, asphalt, and stone powder is blended with 6-8wt% moisture curing type prepolymer such as polybutadiene prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group shown by the formula based on the asphalt. Since the polybutadiene prepolymer has a density approximate to asphalt, uniform blending is possible, water in the atmosphere is scarcely absorbed during application because of heating execution, curing is advanced slightly, and workability is maintained.</p> |
