<p>PURPOSE:To perform search in either direction by switching either of contacts which turn on and off in case of a fault of a repeater optionally and connecting it to a core conductor for fault search. CONSTITUTION:In case of a fault of the repeater, the 1st contact V2 turns on and the 2nd contact V turns off; and the common point of the contacts V2 and V3 is connected to one core conductor for the fault search and a terminal V1 is connected to the other core conductor through a properly inserted resistance R1. When the 1st contact V2 is connected to the terminal V1, the faulty repeater is searched for from a high-priority monitor station in terms of a monitor signal. When the terminal V1 is connected to the 2nd contact V3, the faulty repeater is searched for the faulty repeater from a low-priority monitor station.</p> |
