PURPOSE:To make the driving shaft of a fuel injection pump capable of controlling an ignition-advance by a method wherein a displacing effect based on the centrifugal force of a timing weight is utilized for controlling. CONSTITUTION:When a driving flange 1 is rotated in synchronized with the revolution of the engine and the rotating speed thereof is increased, the revolving speed of the timing weights 18a, 18b is increased, the centrifugal forces thereof are increased and the weights are expanded with respect to each other against the energizing force of a spring 22 toward the axial direction of a supporting rod 19. Such displacements of the timing weights 18a, 18b move eccentric pins 17a, 17b toward the direction shown by an arrow sign B, therefore, large eccentric cams 13a, 13b and small eccentric cams 15a, 15b are pivoted about the eccentric pins 16a, 16b toward the direction shown by the arrow sign C. A phase difference is caused between the cams 13a, 13b and the same 15a, 15b and a follower flange 11 is pivoted, therefore, a timing hub 6 is pivoted into the direction of the ignition-advance and when the revolution of the engine is increased, the fuel injection timing of a fuel injection pump may be advanced. |
