PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality dried laver sheet, by dividing the drying chamber into the upper and the lower spaces, furnishing each space with respective burner, and supplying the upper space with air having higher temperature than the air supplied to the lower space. CONSTITUTION:The laver sheet (m) spread on the laver screen holder M positioned in the space A above the perforated plate 14, is dried with hot air sent from the burner 15. The pre-dried laver sheet (m) is transferred to the space B below the perforated plate 14, and dried slowly with hot air having lower temperature than the air introduced into the upper space A. The air in the lower space B contains sufficient remaining heat, and is blasted upward through the perforated plate 14 to dry the laver sheet in the upper space A. |
