PURPOSE:To prevent the casual moving of a toner from a slit part by disposing a magnet near the slit for moving the toner to a recording member in accordance with an imagewise electric signal and energizing the toner near the slit. CONSTITUTION:A slit 3 is formed by a part of a vessel wall and a signal electrode 4 at the bottom end of a vessel 1 in which a one-component magnetic toner 2 is accumulated. The toner is supplied through the slit 3 to a recording member 8 according to the voltage fed from a control part A to the respective electrodes of the signal electrode 4, thereby forming an imge. The member 8 is fed between the one wall of the vessel and a back electrode 6 in an arrow direction. A magnet 5 which generates the force for concentrating or conducting the toner 2 to the slit part 3 is disposed on at least one of the members forming the slit 3, and the toner in the vessel 1 is held by the magnetic field of the mgnet 5 so as not to leak to the outside through the slit 3. |
